Long round the world travelling at 30 compared with travelling at 20?
So I have not done much travelling, not been out the country for more than 1 week at a time. I keep thinking that I missed out in my early 20's to travwl the world, but am planning on doing this after the next couple of years when I will be around 30 years old. My question is, how different will the experience be and have I missed out doing it at an earlier age?

Sleeping bag for world travel!?
Hello I'm leaving on Friday for a RTW trip and stressing profusely I'm going for 3 months and in that time i'll be staying in hostels and with family. Do I need a sleeping bag? Its taking up sooo much room in my backpack so maybe I should take a blanket instead because it seems silly to take something so bulky which I probably won't end up using anyway... How much money should we save for 6 months to a year of world travelling?
ok so in 2012 i'm going travelling with my best friend. we are both young i'm 19 and she's 21 . ive been working abroad in spain for 2 years seasonal work but i want to broaden my horizons before i settle down i even sacrificed my long term relationship for my job in spain we plan to visit australia, new zealand, thailand, south africa and the americas no particular order . we want to be away for at least 6 months and we will also be working whilst we are away so need to sort visas etc out next year. she has currently saved around 3500 for our trip and i have nothing yet as i didnt get paid much working in spain 2011 will be hardcore saving for me i want at least 5000 by the end of it how much do you think we should save to get us started, first flight out etc? anybody who has done this before please help me out i know the world's a mess at the moment but it probably will be for a long time in the future too. you only live once i just really want to do this while i can. no kids house etc. most the people i went to school with have kids and i just think to myself although they wouldn't trade their kids for the world i think many of them wish they'd waited because it limits them in what they can now do with themselves . we will be careful with our money, i never walk around with a lot of money in my pocket when i'm abroad i take what i think i'm going to spend at the time.

From Australia, for example, start over the Pacific to USA or via Asia to Europe? Best carriers? Best surprising places visited? You are providing advice to traveler who knows the USA Canada, Mexico, Italy and the UK in some detail... SO where else? Preferring the authentic, rather than pools, classy eating clip joints, or levels of service. Assume two traveling together. Perhaps two months. Senior citizens. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me if eliworlds.com is a genuine company, when on holiday in spain I wone a holiday, and went through a lengthy convesration. I am being asked to pay 3,000 for a three year contract that will enable me to get cheap holidays around the world. are they genuine.
